Something like a phenomenon…
The smart phone phenomenon certainly caught most of us business owners sleeping. Just a we were getting used to having a website to advertise our bakery or gardening business it seems that website viewing as we know it is probably on the decline.
Don’t get me wrong customers havent stopped looking at websites altogether. Its just large numbers of people are spending more and more time looking at content on their mobile phones, which has invariably reduced the number of sites they visit and created a new loyalty towards easy to read/navigate apps.
The big companies have cottoned on to this behavioural change and released their own big budget glossy apps to capitalise on this shift, but what about the rest of us?
Well much like newspaper advertising or website designing technology, the small to mid sized business will just have to wait until the entry price for this technology reduces to an attainable level (normally well after the big companies have enjoyed the richest pickings.
Hmm or at least that’s was how things used to be…
